After difficult years following the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, United Air Lines has introduced a new livery to change its public image. The first plane to receive the new look was this Boeing 777-222, registration N775UA. With a total of sixty-one 777-222 and -222ER jets, United is still the world‘s largest operator of the Triple Seven, even though a few have been temporarily retired for economic reasons.
