In 1978, the leading German holidaymaker airline of the time purchased two of the short L-1011-500 TriStar jets. They remained part of the fleet for twenty years, until being replaced by Airbus A330-200s. Now, the TriStar with the registration D-AERL is released in the 1/400 scale.
