The third largest airline of the USA had eight civil versions of the military transporter C-130 in its fleet. Their time with Delta, however, came to an end when the airline introduced Boeing 747 and DC-10 jets in 1973. The limited-edition model (2,000 pieces) carries the registration N9268R.
