Malaysian Airlines belongs to the most respectable airlines of East Asia and such a reputation, of necessity, bears responsibility. So they ordered six examples of the megajet A380-800 in 2004. The first was supposed to be delivered this year, but due to the well-known difficulties at Airbus, this will most likely be delayed for some time yet. Hardly any of the deliveries can be anticipated before 2009. But in the 1/400 scale, the airplane will be launched regardless.
