From the beginning, the in 1990 founded Russian Transaero opted for western aircraft. In 2005, the airline took on five Boeing 747s from Air New Zealand, which they operate on the routes to the South-European holiday destinations so popular in Russia. The original of model is the VP-BQA - for tax purposes registered on the Bermudas.
