In the 70s, Cathay Pacific ordered five examples of the already improved L-1011-100, of which the first example, VR-HHK, was commissioned on August 8, 1975. Later, four used examples were added, and in the course of time, all nine were brought up to the uniform L-1011-385 Cathay-standard. The airline’s first TriStar with the registration VR-HHK is now released in Herpa’s 1/500 scale.
