French Air Force Transall C-160R

Due to bad box design all models have a loose refueling boom. It is up to the customer to re-install the boom, with or without a small drop of glue. The refueling boom is not on the photos.

The next to 60-year history of the Transall C-160 has now also in France come to an end. But before being retired, this C-160R, belonging to the batch of aircraft modernized in the 1990s, was sent on a farewell tour sporting a spectacular special color scheme. Added on this veteran is the refueling boom above the cockpit, a first for the Transall in the 1/200 scale.
