ITA Airways Airbus A350-900

Alitalia operated Boeing 777 as its largest aircraft type, but its successor ITA Airways chose Airbus' A350 as its flagship instead. Thus, the new Italian airline with the elegant blue-metallic shine and the small ornamental designs on its tail will for the time-being operate a pure Airbus fleet. EI-IFB. Herpa’s first ITA model in the 1/200 scale, bears the name of former soccer player Marcello Lippi. Since the summer of 2022 it has been connecting Rome with other metropolises such as Los Angeles, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo or Tokyo.
