The airship "Hindenburg", named after field marshal Paul von Hindenburg, with aircraft registration D-LZ 129 (Luftschiff Zeppelin 129), was a huge passenger airship. With a length of 248 meters the airship was the longest and largest airship ever built. It was designed and built by Zeppelin in Lake Constance, Frederick Harbor. After completion, it was put into service by Deutsche Zeppelin-Reederei Company in March 1936, and burned down on May 6, 1937, when trying to land over Lake Naval Air Terminal in Manchester, New Jersey.
This set includes two sticker sets, one with crosses, and one with Nazi swastikas that were on the real airship. As Nazi symbols are forbidden in some countries, we can remove this sticker set on request.

Greener option!
Unlike other shops we transport this model from the factory in China to our warehouse without using air freight. We love airplanes as much as you do, but air freight has a huge environmental impact. Air freight is also expensive, by using other means of transport we can offer models for a lower price.
The only advantage of air freight is that it's very fast. But we don't think this is more important than the disadvantages. If you reserve a model in advance you will be sure you can buy it from us. At a lower price, with less environmental impact.
