The first of no less than 150 A321neos on order was handed over to United Airlines in October 2023. N44501 is initially based in Chicago and opened routes to new destinations, including Phoenix, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Fort Myers, and Las Vegas. 15 of these fuel-efficient aircraft have been delivered since. The last A321neos are scheduled to reach the fleet in 2032.
