To celebrate the centennial anniversary a Boeing 777-300er aircraft, registered N735AT will showcases one of American Airlines’ original Silver Eagle® liveries with a twist. The design includes an orange lightning bolt motif and has been associated with the airline's history. The aircraft is named “Flagship DFW,” referencing Dallas–Fort Worth International Airport, the airline’s main base and largest hub.
“American has thoughtfully chosen a design that evokes our rich history while looking ahead to our next 100 years,” said Ron DeFeo, American’s Chief Communications Officer. “Throughout American’s history, ‘Flagship®’ has always been recognized as our premium travel experience. Our renewed focus on the customer experience is making premium travel better than ever across all aspects of our customers’ travel journeys. Painting the original Flagship® design on our Flagship® aircraft is a powerful way to honor that legacy while embracing the future.”

Greener option!
Unlike other shops we transport this model from the factory in China to our warehouse without using air freight. We love airplanes as much as you do, but air freight has a huge environmental impact. Air freight is also expensive, by using other means of transport we can offer models for a lower price.
The only advantage of air freight is that it's very fast. But we don't think this is more important than the disadvantages. If you reserve a model in advance you will be sure you can buy it from us. At a lower price, with less environmental impact.
