To celebrate the inauguration of non-stop flights from San Francisco on the U.S. west coast to Adelaide in the state of South Australia, United Airlines added an over-sized postage stamp to the fuselage sides of this Dreamliner aircraft. An interesting note on the side: As the route crosses the international date line, the flight that leaves San Francisco at 11 pm, reaches Adelaide at 9.30 in the morning, two days later. On the return trip to the U.S. the aircraft after its 15-hour journey actually lands some three hours earlier than it took off.
