Delta

Airbus A350-900

Premium, solid fuselage with lacquer finish and stylistic display stand!
In 2014, Delta Air Lines announced their firm order to Airbus for 50 new widebody aircraft, including 25 A350-900. This model, bearing registration number N501DN and ship 3501, represents the first A350-900 aircraft scheduled to be delivered in the second quarter 2017.
These A350-900, as well as the 25 A330-900neo that were also ordered, are part of Delta’s strategy to update their fleet and replace older generation Boeing 747 and 767 aircraft beginning in 2017 and 2019. The long-range Airbus A350-900 will continue Delta's optimization of its Pacific network, operating primarily on long-range routes between the U.S. and Asia. The jets are expected to generate a 20 percent improvement in operating cost per seat compared to the Boeing 747-400 aircraft they will replace. The A350-900 will be powered by two fuel-efficient Rolls Royce Trent XWB engines.
Inflight, passengers will experience 2Ku-band satellite Wi-Fi, wider panorama windows and more spacious overhead stowage bins.

Such a great departure from the old flight miniatures. The amount of details on the fuselage and engines are amazing, even though the overall mould, especially the nose is not that accurate. Exciting improvements while keeping price stable
