British Midlands Vickers Viscount 800

G-AZNA has a changeful and colorful history, a part of which can now be followed in the 1/200 scale: Originally delivered to South African Airways back in 1958, she was taken up by British Midland Airways in 1972 (item no 556118). In the early 1980s, G-AZNA was leased to Many Airlines, flying in their distinctive green color scheme (item no 556866), later being returned to British Midland where she was repainted in the then new “diamond” livery, and was operated on second-tier routes through to 1998 as the last Viscount of the fleet.
