Mil Mi-8TB

Over 100 Mi-8 helicopters saw service in the armed forces of East Germany. Following the German reunification in 1990, nearly 30 aircraft were transferred to the newly formed “Heereslfiegerstaffel Ost” (Army Aviation Squadron East). In 1993, the last aircraft were retired. For the fly-out ceremony, 93+62 received this special color scheme.
